Local Control Accountability Plan

The 2020-21  Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) & Annual Update was approved by the Board of Trustees at the June 14th, 2021 Board Meeting.

The Orinda 2020-2021 LCAP includes required state priorities that are embedded in the following:

  1. That all students, including English Learners, will demonstrate knowledge of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) by meeting and/or exceeding proficiency levels in core subjects (English Language Arts, Math and Science).
  2. To provide safe, equitable and inclusive learning environments that meet the intellectual, social, emotional and physical needs of all Orinda school students.
  3. To develop a comprehensive and responsive professional learning plan that will allow staff to provide a rigorous, relevant and differentiated educational experience for all students.

Orinda USD is currently undergoing a strategic planning process.

It is the intent of the Orinda USD staff to deeply engage all stakeholders and once approved by the Board, have a Mission Statement and Strategic Plan that will build on current strengths and accomplishments, grow existing effective practices and initiatives, and provide direction on how to improve our services to our students, families and staff members.

Once approved, the Mission Statement and Strategic Plan will guide the revision and alignment of the 2021-22 LCAP.
