The Orinda Union School District's Board of Trustees functions as the legislative body of the district and establishes policies and goals by which the school district is operated. Five citizens are elected to serve overlapping terms of four years each. They are elected at-large by the registered voters of the district and generally meet on the second Monday of each month. Open Session typically begins at 6:00 p.m. Closed Sessions and Study Sessions may begin earlier.

Meetings are held in the Board Room of the Orinda Union School District Office, at 8 Altarinda Road, Orinda unless otherwise posted. Please review our BoardDocs™ website for updated meeting times, meeting agendas and minutes.

The Board of Trustees welcomes your comments and input. Please note that while Board Members may respond individually, public meeting laws do not allow more than two members of the Board to engage in any communication that could impact an item that may be on a Board agenda. All substantive conversations by the Board must occur at public meetings and workshops. We encourage the public to attend or drop in at one of our informal coffees with two Board members.
